@767nutter 2.0 turbo in the GSi, SRi TURBO and ACT do it in 7. This style astra (Newer style) is quoted as 7.9 0-60.

no mate the 2.0 T is supposed to do it in approx 7.0s, the 2.2 sri, ( the one i have ) does it in approx 7.9, and the Non-Turbo 2.0 does it in 8.5s

ive got the 2.0 turbo 170 06 plate, im thinking of getting it ECU remapped...have you considered doing this?

I counted 8 seconds, and the car is supposed to officially hit 60 from a standing start in 7.9 seconds, so it's about right.
The VXR does 0 -- 60 in under 7 seconds -- 6.2, to be exact.
