Hi schader,

The chorus at the start with all the instruments besides the organ stripped off is really pretty. Is that just one channel of the stereo recording? Otherwise, how did you get the other instruments out? Thanks.

@tomhancock69 well i guess i wasnt old enough to know those kinds of things since im from 82, but if it is rlly an anti war song it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccckkkkkkkk­kssss!!! wham is so gay in so many more than just one way I tell ya, anywhooo the song still isn't about war though it's about freedom, so I still don't get what a whole bunch of nazi's where doing in the vid, but dude said he was drunk when he made this so that might explain it :P

XxXmizzshottaXxX - Sorry, I don't know how old you are, but Schader is absolutely right. It was all over the news (nightly news too, not just entertainment) about how he wrote Freedom '90 to speak against war. I just Googled "George Michael interviews Freedom '90" and there is all kind of information and interviews on the internet about the backstory to this song. Of course you have the right to read whatever you like into the lyrics, but they are ABSOLUTELY ABOUT WAR. Thanx Schader!
