S60R LED Fog Lights... City Lights

This is an install I did over the weekend. The LEDs are 10mm individual bulbs manually set and wired into the fog lights. The fogs are 6000k HIDs. The brightness is also attributed to a very sensitive camera. Enjoy!

You obviously know a lot about electrical, good to know. What did you use as a bracket to place them there? Also, I'm assuming you're just using the fog's power, did you just splice the fog power and solder the LED circuit to it and use the fog's ground?

I might go ahead and do this if it's just that, haha. Looks sick man, good job.

Hey guys thanks for the compliments. These LEDs are installed in the fog light (probably the hardest part). I secured them using hot glue and wired them into the fog light circuit by installing a separate plug. It isn't hard to build but it does take a lot of time and you need the tools, skills to solder and lots of patience (the parts are small and getting the alignment is key so they shine straight ahead). Hope this helps guys. Funny thing is... I sold this car for an S4. Cheers!

Thanks for the info. And it shouldn't be a problem for me, I work with micro-electronics alot, which has made my soldering very precise...LEDs are a simple procedure by now, haha.

I like the work, but how could you commit treason by trading this for an S4??

I know. I loved that S60R. I loved pulling on exotics that had no idea what was going to happen. No expects a volvo to be fast. But the B5 S4 has a lot more potential at stock, it's going to be fun.

like the fogs and where did you get those led strips like the audi's have?

They are individual 10mm LED bulbs found on Ebay aligned and wired in a circuit.

@Don17p Im not sure with the S60 models, but with the 850's and S70's, you have to take out the relay and cahnge one of the pins in it to a different location, and then reinstall. There is a good write up on it, at volvospeed,com

-Do the fog lights have projector lenses ?

- Also are the headlights Halogen or HID ?

@Don17p I'm guessing he probably had to rewire the relays. I have an '01 pathfinder and recently did the mod so I could turn on the fogs by themselves. It's a great thing to do!
