Here is a mishmash of promos from WNET with a little introduction from the tail end of Yellow Submarine (1969), leading into Horse Feathers (1932). Its really neat seeing these movies sourced off of 16mm prints instead of today's digital equipment.

Very few people know that there was a Christmas version of this very logo with the phrase, "Keeping what matters in sight" was replaced with, "Seasons Greetings." The background had a lot of multicolored snowflakes, too. It's true, it's just no ones uploaded it yet.

  • @rswan5 Thank you very much. I had no idea. I find WNET history fascinating. Did they do a christmas variation from the radar era (1984-88)?

  • @wnyet1987 THAT I don't know. I was probably a baby when that was aired.
