This past Saturday the mayor of Columbia, South Carolina, held a ceremony during which he named Stephen Colbert SC's Favorite Son and officially proclaimed October 28th Stephen Colbert Day. Colbert, who is running for President in SC on both the Democratic and Republican tickets, seized the moment and delivered a stump speech like no other candidate could (or would dare) ever make. Pure genius...

  • @TheJasonDR You're a freaking racist. "Poor depressed black population"? That's a really nice way to define an entire population. How about your buddy Herman? Is he poor and depressed? I think not. And what is sexually liberal? What do you mean by that?

  • @wolfgirl3440 ....hmm how about you look into the actual democratic community...you know the sexually liberal and the poor depressed black population...you know the democratic party voters :)

  • @TheJasonDR You have to admit that that is true. Every Republican that has been accused of an affair has been caught in that affair, not just send texts and tweets. And honey trust me, Republicans are worse than Democrats when it comes to fidelity. The "frontrunner", Newty, had two affairs, and married the lady that he had an affair with while his wife was in the hospital with cancer! That's sick. I've never heard of a Democrat doing anything like that.

  • @wolfgirl3440 ...when Anthony wiener was having his media frenzy Colbert over here mentioned that when republicans do something like this they are more inclined to actually cheat instead of send dirty text...that was a direct attack on republicans a political party ..even though that whole Anthony Wiener thing had nothing to do with republicans ...he still felt like he should mention how much worse republicans are

  • @TheJasonDR And actual news show pundits don't use their celebrity and opinions to influence politics? People don't have to watch Colbert or Stewart if they don't want to. If they feel like they are being persuaded into believing something they don't, they can just switch the channel. The comedy of Colbert and Stewart's shows stems from the idiocy of politics today. The shows wouldn't be as funny or sadly honest as they are. They just show politicians for what they truly are.

  • @wolfgirl3440 his show uses comedy to influence politics...

  • @TheJasonDR Why do you feel that way? Jw

  • @wolfgirl3440 ...its basically a propaganda machine...

  • @TheJasonDR Colbert is? He's left-wing. He just plays the republican part I think because when you hear criticism from your own side, it makes it seem a lot worse. btw... I'm 17 too. lol. I grew up watching The Daily Show and started watching The Colbert report when it came out. I love these shows. Stewart and Colbert (especially Stewart) are geniuses in my opinion. But that's just my opinion. Yours may be different. =)

  • @wolfgirl3440 ...im 17 ok and I grew up watching colbert ...I think since I was 11 yrs old or something ...I grew up sorta hating the republican party even though I did not understand politics...this dude is a modern day propaganda machine ...freaky stuff
