Excellent filming by Norris at the British Open Paramotor Championships. The aim is to knock over the stick five times in the shortest possible time, the winning paramotor did it in about 33 seconds by flying a constant radius at the same height, I managed 1min 18secs. I put a cage on the frame after breaking a prop on the very first stick of the first task.

  • hi pete just thought because your flying low and confined are you feeling and prop wash ?.

  • @TheRidgehog Hello, yeh, I feel and smell the prop wash. I know in microlight flying it is a MASSIVE no-no and has been known to put microlights into extreme attitudes. Our props push out much less turbulence due to lower power engines and less thrust, but it's still a very important consideration. Ideally I should figure-8 turning into wind everytime, so the turbulence is drifting away constantly. Pete
