The fact that Agnes Moorehead makes Endora lovable and admirable despite her negative qualities is a testament to her acting talent.

Apparently Paul Lynde and Liz Montgomery got along famously and were often gently scolded by her producer husband for slowing things down as they often got each laughing to the point where they got the giggles and couldn't stop. So I guess it's real chemistry between the two that make the episodes with 'Uncle Arthur' so much fun to watch.
