The first video in a series about beginning transition. This video deals with the issue of figuring out where you stand on the gender spectrum, whether or not transition is for you, and what your goals might be.

  • What should I do if my parents won't let me transition mtf even though that I've acted like a girl, only wanted girls cloths and all that stuff since I was 7? now I'm 15 and puberty is nearing the end for me and everything is just a mess :(

What should I do? I need some advice?

    Btw great video?

  • @ultraawesome55 You're old enough to go see a doctor on your own, and get your own prescriptions... However, the fact is, so long as you live with them, they have alot of control over your life. You can either try to convince them that this is in your best interest, and teach them about transsexuality, or move out as soon as you can.

However, whatever you do, don't drop out of school, don't compromise your education.

  • Well I hope that's not your reason for transitioning.

  • personally i think that transition would make me feel better if i had alot of trans/gay/female friends, which i dont :' (

so i dunno what to do

  • Well, perhaps you should work on making friends. You have to realize that transitioning is something you do for yourself, however.

  • @MrChazian But if your making a Boisterous comment about how you support the transgender community and making the right decision, I guess good for you? But i still can't figure out why you would word your statement how you did lol. : P

  • @Tytsjerksteradiel I can't even figure out what this comment is supposed to mean. If your saying you would rather be trans and a female, wanting to go F to M, because in your mind you view M to F transgender people as faggots, then technically your saying you would rather be a faggot in the opposite respect.... which makes you an idiot, and a faggot. either way I read your statement you just sound like a loser and a moron. Learn to respect EVERYONE, despite sexuality, gender, or orientation.

  • @Tytsjerksteradiel I'm an ftm, so I come from the opposite side, but though my mom fully supports me, when I came out she said it would have been easier if I was a lesbian because it's something you can't see or know unless someone tells you, and I agree there wouldn't have been nearly as much frustration about stuff like which bathroom to use. However, since I'm now bi, no matter which gender I am there'll always be someone that calls me queer or whatever, but I'm more comfortable as a guy.

  • I'm just a plain ol' hetero guy but I must say I really respect your positive approach, helping people in what must be a very difficult situation learn to make their lives work a little better. I can only imagine how hard it must be to be... different in this way in a world full of haters. God bless!

  • @Tytsjerksteradiel Wow, pretty hateful. So you'd like acceptance as a TG but won't grant it to non-TG gays? Isn't life hard enough already?

  • Your chat was very helpful and constructive. Thankyou.

  • I think you are good, precise and devoted to helping others who are in termoil. I am 63 and a transwoman. Just starting. You have helped me in all of yopur videos. Thank you and God bless you. Rebecca

  • LOL! Really? What's your problem with faggots then?
