Timothy Anderson, director of the UMass Minuteman Marching Band, is celebrating the opening of the new, $5.8 million marching band building named in honor of his legendary predecessor, George Parks. Anderson admires the extraordinary enthusiasm of band members and alumni and is working to create additional traditions and experiences for a new generation of Bandos.
