40 Watts FAP Solid State Complete Laser System
- Using orinary PC Case
- PC Power supply to provide 5V, 12V to fans and microprocessor
- ATmega 168 Microprocessor for monitoring temperatures, displaying LCD and controlling TEC cooling
- 40 watts FAP laser module
- Fiber output with lens assembly collimator
- Low noise, laser driver at 3.5 V, 40 amps adjustable.
- Laserglow 808 nm Laser Protection Googles

  • So is it powerful enough to cut glass? or would it actually reflect like you would see in a movie?

  • Either its focused really bad or its not 40 watts. I have had 5 watt argons set pencils on fire faster. They would punch a hole through your styrofoam backing in a second.

  • cool laser, FAPs can be purchased on ebay cheap the only problem is the powersupply which are expensive. a TEC and a pc waterblock could chill the laser also...

  • Nice. But why is there a lens after the fibre-output? Spot could be so much smaller and more intense.
