From what I've heard. The dead remenance of the Halo movie were used to make district 9. So basically the halo movie couldn't work out,so he used that money to make 9

ive never heard of some one with no face...and ODST was released after production for this movie started so they cant base it on the orbital drop shock troopers (ODST)... so its most likely gonna be based on masterchief
