Molly's original owners debarked her, and as a result she had to gasp for breath every time she barked. It was sad to see this silly Basset Hound/Golden Retriever mix struggle for breath even at the happiest of times. This is a a common side effect.

We were the fourth and final caretakers for this geriatric hospice rescue. We originally intended to foster her for permanent placement elsewhere, but her health was so poor that she only lasted a couple of months. When she came to us, we knew that she loved children and couldn't manage stairs anymore. She also had an undiagnosed splenic mass, which became her undoing. She was a sweet and friendly girl.

Here, Molly (de)barks, visitor Duncan tunnels to freedom, Noodle the Labrador retriever with centronuclear myopathy (CNM) whines, and Cassie the shelter dog orbits.

  • wow so peaceful. This should be mandatory

for all dogs in a neighborhood setting.

  • This video is just propaganda for all the people who think animals are on par with human beings. It's so annoying; the whack jobs at PETA now even have a "fly catcher" instead of swatter. Absolutely retarded. I have two dogs and love them to death but they're just animals, that's it. If I have a dog living in my home he doesn't have the right to bark unless allowed anyway.

  • lol

  • the owners should be debarked

  • THAT'S SICK!!!YOU BASTARD!!!

  • good, the neighborhoods won't be bothered by annoying barking

  • @azrookie yes it does. I actually did a lot of research with many vets and tissue OFTEN doesnt grow back normally, scars develop often, you'll feel like there's an extra CHUNK of flesh in your throat, like you swallowed something that won't go all the way down. You're the idiot.

  • @0AnimeLova0 what are u talking about? it does not affect the breathing. You sir are an idiot.

  • You are all idiots if you think it is somehow painful for the dog. Many dogs are saved from being euthanized as a result of the minor procedure. Yeah it sounds bad, but it does not effect the dog whatsoever unless the procedure is done wrong.

  • that's really sad... no dog should be debarked like that, fucked up. if you cant handle a barking dog, dont buy one.
