Ghost Drives Carr !

Vernon Gholston goes from bad to badass on consecutive plays.
1st play he takes a bad angle, misses the tackle and ends up face down on the sidelines.
2nd play he goes unblocked and there is a massive Carr wreck !

But as the NFL is, he's flagged because you can't hit a QB's helmet, you can't hit them in the knees (Thanx to Mrs.Brady), you can't drive em when you tackle....


Vernon, we are rooting for you no matter what. Well, at least the true JETS fans are.

I think if Gholston was a defensive end in a 4-3 system he can be something.

@blazinpyromaniac They've tried everything.....even played some (3-4) DT. He doed get a little push but he's 1 and done. No 2nd level. No moves. Just a dude trying to push people.

@toomanyscreennames Actually, the JETS under Rex play a base 3-4 but you'll see a 4-6 a 4-3 shit a 1-3-7...They aren't going to convert to strictly being a 4-3 defense under Rex since they mix it up but yes, they have played 4-3 at times w/ Ghost @ DE, LB and as I said before even DT. The dude is almost useless right now.

He's not useless, he can be good in a all out 4-3 defense. Which is why the Bears took a gamble on him. He played 4-3 all in college, the manginia's fatass plugged him into a 3-4 which is dumb. They guy can still prove himself, he's young. He'll be aight.

Ill give you santonio Holmes but he is from the state of Florida anyway and what have Ringer, Barber and Wells done ? There have been some good players coming out of the Big Ten ( Joe Thomas, Nick Mangold, Malcolm Jenkins) but there are way too many busts in between
