Huh... Ok do me a favor, I want you to pop the hood and take a picture of the cables coming out of the Throttle body. If it has a TV cable going to the transmission, it is the 3 speed. I am 95% sure that cars that have 1, 2, D are 3 speed, and 1, 2, 3 D are 4 speed.

my first car, 97 sunfire 2,2 5spd. ive never lost a race with it lol (only raced a dodge caliber and a volvo 870) but now im in the real world with my yzfr1. i was used to my moms camry so when i got the pontiac i was like wow and since ive ridden that r1 im more like yuck. i must admit my sunfire has the best sounding engine ever though! its pretty incredible, i beat it like were in a video game, any other car would be dead by now.

pretty slow idk, my moms 2.2l saturn ls is about 7-8 seconds 0-60, but saturns are all plastic fenders so idk...

i would have to say that car has just been treated like crap and you don't know how to get it run great. i love my cavalier and its faster than that one for damn sure. Check my videos out

Why dose yours only have 1 2 then drive when mine has 1 2 3 drive and why is mine so slow I thought every one said chevy is best can any one help me and tell me why the chevy I bought is so slow and sucks so bad I should of stuck with ford

Mine only has 1,2 drive because mine has the 3 speed automatic. Your's has the 4 speed overdrive, which gets much better gas mileage, and is generally faster. If you have the 2.2L engine, that is the problem. It is a very solid engine, especially if take care of. But it isn't fast, with only 120HP and 140lb/ft of torque. You can try to modify it, but the 2.2L OHV is expensive to mod.
