This is a simulation of the chaotic electrical activity during ventricular fibrillation.
The multiple spiral waves drive the heart at a faster period than that of the normal sinus rhythm. This results in irregular activation of the ventricles and thereby prevents an effective mechanical contraction. Blood pressure instantaneously drops to zero, leading to death within minutes due to lack of cardiac output unless successful electrical defibrillation is performed. • AED Giveaway... Yep, American Med Supply is giving away an AED, and a bunch of other cool prizes. Just look up American Med Supply on YouTube for all the details. You don't have to buy anything or anything like that.

  • A good amount of the heart is IN the left of the mediastinum. Not outside it. :)

  • lmfao...

  • This is highly in accurate. The heart in this video looks nothing like my Valentine balloons.

  • i really love taking Levodyn, i am taking this for almost 5 months now and it's really making wonders with my health.

  • do u even read a book?

  • you are correct

  • wow Isis most 10 year olds know that the heart has a leftward axis (in the vast majority of people)

  • No it isnt, 2/3 of the hearts mass is to the left of the mediastinum. Which means that most of the heart is on the left side of the sternum. Try studying up on anatomy before you try to correct others.
