  • @bloodnokian he really is i met him in portsmouth at a from the jam concert. he really is such a great bloke. signed my dvd and ticket and i got a photo and his bass pick

  • @MsFanmail Awesome! I've always had a soft spot for Bruce since back in 1978/9, he's one of the most amazing bass players ever so I'm glad to hear he is a nice fella in real life (as it were). Next time you see him tell him some random dude on the internet thinks he is godlike.

  • @cmonupies Yeh but no. Weller and Foxton bumped into each other at Hyde Park after a The Who gig in 2006 and talked for 10 minutes then hugged. It wasn't until 2009 when Foxton's wife died when they became proper friends again.

  • @cmonupies Come across me elsewhere...I don't think so. You really are trying to be a pedant but you fail because you don't quote fact and are talking rubbish. Buckler on Tubestation, Wasteland, as well as In the City and many more was fantastic. Buckler is unlikely to reunite with Weller because he left him almost penniless after the jam split. Buckler had to sell his gold discs to fund a court case which Weller and his lot settled at the last minute. Oh and I read the Independent. ;-)

  • @LizaRadley1 Next one's a bit pedantic too...but if you follow Buckler you'll probably be a Sun reader but here goes: 2/"Foxton and Weller only got talking again when Foxton's wife died"..sorry - wrong again! Paul actually rang Bruces wife 1ST whilst BF wasnt in the room. Her words were "You'll never guess whos just rang me" to BF..they made friends not long after. To end you encapsulate it all with u mentioning 1 song in support of M-A's drumming & it was good - but ANY PW drummer could do it!

  • @LizaRadley1 Yeah, I'll only answer you once cos you obviously know naff all although you think you do cos I've come across you elsewhere..& if you want me to be pedantic:1/ "telling Paul to leave them both behind citing that they were hangers on to his talent"...funny that seeing as though John had a dicky fit when Paul said he was splitting The Jam up [& thats been said many a time..though i cant remember what was said in Mardy-arse & Bruce's book cos it didnt really do it for me CONTD

  • @cmonupies

You obviously like to rewrite history. Buckler had a right to be a mardy arse with John Weller not paying him or Foxton their rightful share and telling Paul to leave them both behind citing that they were hangers on to his talent. Foxton and Weller only got talking again when Foxton's wife died and John Weller passed on. Weller has never been as good since The Jam split and Bucklers live drumming on songs like little boy soldiers was something else...

  • @MrVinalmagic What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @SirBanuTheFourth UR A FUCKING KNOB EVERY DRUMMER HAS THERE OWN STYLE U PROBABLY STILL THINK THERE WAS 3 MEMEBERS TO THE JAM BUT U WOULD BE SO WRONG
