"With 20 years of experience building power supplies for the consumer and industry, it's no wonder PC Power & Cooling is THE preferred power supply. I personally have two S75Q models in two of my computer systems and have no issues whatsoever. So I really know first hand over an extended test period how excellent the Silencer model really is. The PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Quad CrossFire Edition Power Supply (S75CF) is really the same as the previous model (S75Q), except it has two 8pin (6+2) PCIE leads and its red. This model is also ATI CrossFire certified, so it's perfect for an ATI CrossFire Video Card setup. This Power Supply fits the bill and ATI color theme! Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." ~3dGameMan.com

  • More rails means you have more lost power trapped on rails that arent fully used. Resulting in less efficient and more easily streched PSU.

  • Sorry but you will not find a better quality psu than this. Unless its a PC P&C 1200watt. There is always a reason for the way things are designed. I can live with the molex being hard to insert/remove but from what I have heard in the long run modular cables can be less reliable.

  • @saik0pod this PSU will be more than enough

  • i have quad 5770s, will that psu be enough? Currently i have no psu because I only have a 500W old PSU with no pci-e connectors

  • Hey 3dgameman, do you have any idea why any PSU that has more than 1 +12V Rail doesn't work properly in my household?

  • I love this PSU! Can't wait to build my new rig with a 5970 :)

  • are Peripheral and molex conectors the same?

  • Modular PSUs have more resistance to its leads, degrading its reliability and efficiency.

  • PC Power & Cooling is the lord of power supplies. Nothing else can match its performance.

  • Better.

  • Lol, trubritar, been explaining how to determine wattages, and to know that you need to know what rails are for years (h) God, he is awesome :D

  • Top tier in quality, but PC Power and Cooling is stubborn and refuses to go modular or use 120mm/140mm fans.

As a result, their higher end silencers get loud when heavily loaded and there is a mess of wires that is annoying to keep tidy.
