What you need to know before tuning into HD Radio...more FM channels, double the stations, new technology, more content and crystal clear sound.

  • I have HD Radio. It's great

  • Keep it up! Your posts are most illuminating!

BTW: I'am a "professional" stock investor these days, haven't been a radio studio since I was a child...That would be 1966.

Kind of funny isn't it..a male nurse debating radio with a stock trader.

    here's laughing at ya!

  • It seems to me that quite a few radio stations are dumping their HD channels. It really is a crock of sh*t!

  • I have a question, is HD Radio better than Satellite Radio? I know with Satellite Radio you have to buy subscriptions every year right?

  • Ha first we had HD movies, then HD videogames, then HD music, then HD television, and now HD radio. So I'm guessing next we'll have HD phones too?

  • I too am waiting for HD Radio technology to mature before I get into it.

  • Also Internet radio is all digital and no reception issues unless you have a bad connection or out of service of your mobile device. However you can listen to internet radio where you have a connection and don't' loose the station you like.

  • Radio is dieing with all the media device. It's all internet radio now which means all you need is a internet connection. Internet radio is taking off on devices that support it so why use regular radio?

    Waste of money imo

  • What tabletop/boombox type hybrid digital HD radios have the newest generation HD radio circuitry/chip ?... for example can you get the Sony HD radio with the newest HD radio circuitry/chip ?

  • Why would anybody waste money on yet another radio considering how far broadcast radio has deteriorated? Once WiMax and other wireless internet technology comes into play you can listen to scores of internet stations that beat the socks off of my local station, HD or not!

  • IHEARTRADIO = LAME!!!!!!!!!!

  • I bought a small portable HD radio player. It's OK. I did find 3 HD channels that are worth listening to. Really the only reason I bought one is because they moved my favorite jazz station to HD2.

Pros: Some cool channels you wouldn't hear with out an HD radio and it is free. Audio no worse or better than satellite radio.

Cons- HD radio reception needs to be improved. Also needs to become more popular.
