This hymn, O Gladsome Light, has many names, but the general translation into english for the orthodox here in america is, "O gladsome light of the holy glory of the Immortal Father, heavenly, holy, Blessed Jesus Christ, having come to the setting of the sun and beheld the light of evening, we glorify the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, God, at all times, Thou art worthy, of praise in songs, therefore, the world glorifies Thee." Though there are many translations of course!

Stunningly beautiful! Heavenly!! I already know "Bogoroditse Dievo" (No. 6) but I'd love to do the other ones with my choir as well. As a bass, these are seriously the best songs to sing!! ^^
