Was curious as to the origins of this odd English idiom 'Gobble a Stick,' spoken by actress Michelle Keegan on an episode of ITV's Coronation Street. In context it seemed to mean 'get really mad.' The David mentioned was to testify in court against character that had just left the room.

So I went back and listened again a few times, just to be sure.

Turns out she was really saying, "Go Ballistic." heh heh
