In my opinion, this is one of the best films I have ever seen. It is not being uploaded for profit, however MGM is welcome to place ads on it if they so desire. My only interest in uploading this film is to bring it to the attention of a new audience.

  • george c scott's end scene is awful...he seems to be forcing the acting...lee j cobb's performance is epic compared to this shit...this version blows...maybe becaus tony banta and tony soprano are on the jury?...no comparison at all to the 1957 version which is a true classic

  • @SpaceTruckin55 I just watched the 1957 version the other day and it was good. Made for its time. But I personally feel this version was better in that they took the time to fix up what they lacked in 57. But, they made the ad guy an idiot in this version. And I feel Scotts' perfomance was epic compared to 57. But I may just be biased by hiswork in patton

  • I am Troy Davis. I wish he had been blessed to have such a jury.

  • @SpaceTruckin55 ALso, I do agree the 1957 cast was better. However, I wouldn't go so far as to say this verion "Blows". It was pretty well done I think.

  • @SpaceTruckin55 I disagree that it was awful. However, it wasn't as good as Lee Cobb's performance. Cobb's fury was just explosive. He should have gotten as oscar for his performance. Scott's was still good though. (Of course he had a lot of experience from Patton.) (c:

  • @dilweed100 what a twist!

  • How can the black guy be the racist one?

  • @fatherofmy5 : What in god's name are you blathering about? "This version was better in that they took the time to fix up what they lacked in 57?" The movie was near perfect. It wasn't "lacking" anything. You fool!

  • One of my favorites as well, a great film. Right now, I am playing both films side by side and although the 1957 version is clearly better overall, the 1997 version does do it's share better in certain parts and actor timing. I will say this, Mykelti Williamson's portrayal of Juror #10 is clearly better then the 1957 version. I can't say that any of the other 1997 actors are clearly better then the 1957 version.

  • What a great movie, one of my all time favorites..

  • I think this is awesome.

    True acting.True actors.

    Thanx.

  • It's a good remake, I admit the casting is really damn good... except for Jack Lemmon. Seriously, he's got NOTHING on Henry Fonda. He doesn't have half the power in his voice.
