The grass is never greener on the otherside, unless Primus is there.

mg such eloquence,..all you really needed to say was: Primus sucks!
does it matter knowing were there influences are from? its hard to say any way, as far as i can tell they sound like no other bands. i only kinda trip the same way on dream theater, maybe pink floyd aswel

@phantasmphan don't worry, it's running on a constant loop on my iPod at work! Man it sucks!!

@Rodysniper Not just late crimson, Parts of Red are very Primussy.

that bass has some wicked tunage, love the "sludge" sound, like in the song Bob

Primus is and always will be great for two reasons. No one else anywhere sounds like them. Not even close. And they have not and never will "sell out" like the majority of bands these days. They are unique. Masters of their instruments. And they each cater to the other members in the band. BOW YOUR HEAD...

i thought i was a good primus fan, but i dont think i was sober enough to remember ever hearing this song before

why the fuck is it short
One of my favorite Primus melodies kicks in at 1:47.

Ive been a long time Primus/ Claypool fan and have seen a strong Prog rock influence from less obscure bands such as Rush, Yes, and alot of Pink Floyd, to name a few, and i appreciate the non arrogance about making for some a relatively obscure connection, but my remark was a little tounge and cheek as i see a lot of people try to display some sort of superior knowledge by pointing it out as if the more glaring prog influences are not there, but i guess that goes with the inerwebs territory.
