By holding bake sales, Americans raised over $1.2 million dollars last year alone. Since it began in 2003, funds raised during the Great American Bake Sale have helped nearly 1 million children in America.

Food Network star Sandra Lee tell viewers how they can hold their very own bake sales to help end childhood hunger. Sandra Lee has been the official campaign spokesperson for Share Our Strengths Great American Bake Sale since 2008. She will deliver some of her favorite time-saving Semi-Homemade bake sale recipes based on her trademark 70/30 philosophy 70 percent ready-made products with 30 percent fresh ingredients - adding creative touches to make something that looks, tastes, and feels as if it were completely made from scratch.
