As a rule, a stenographer always works with two or more pencils with points at both ends...just in case. But don't forget that pens fail too! The rule for pens is the same: work always with two or more...

By the way, stenographers are trained to write down without any tension, any strain, any pressure, very smoothly, to avoid exactly that: the breaking of the points.

Very interesting, I'm guessing that is a spanish version of Gregg there, I'm learning Gregg as well but it will be a while before I write like that.
