Here's a different version of "helter skelter", a powerful hard rock song by The Beatles.
The regular version was released in 1968 in the album "The BEATLES", aka "the white album", but this one is a different mix of the same take they used for the final master.
It's featured on the 1978 compilation album "Rarities". (it's official...at least it was....it's out of print right now).
The main difference is the lenght, the ending part where they fade in and after some "chaos" Ringo screams "I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS", was edited out.
Bass sounds louder, you can barely hear the rythm guitar during most of the song, (you can notice how they lower its volume very roughly just after the first chorus!), and the drums have some kind of echo or reverb effect.
Anyway, enjoy this weird version!.
(well, it sounds weird when you are used to the white album one).
This is my favorite album of all time! And I'm a huge KISS fan, mind ya! But, hey, KISS loves The Beatles too!
