coming from an rx-8 owner, if you wanna race it dont try and race him at 5 grand go at 8 where you make all your power

@dalesocks 4g63 is technically cheaper, meaning that it need less maintenance, an rx8 you can easily put a turbo and up the exhaust system and watch how the power rises because of its 10k rpms it gets rich around 8k, and the turbo will help it reach it faster, or you can get a 3rotor engine and watch how that will make massive hp, the only thing is that the actual chassis (bodyframe) of the rx8 is what gives it its name in terms of handling, the chasis of the rx8 is one of the best ever built.

@dalesocks I still think the 4g63 is a cheaper engine to make faster. And I think the stock rx8 weights more too but i'm not sure. I did went to the track last month and saw an rx8 running low 7s.

@dalesocks I respect all cars but i keep saying rants and rants on how rx8's are slow, when they have no clue about them, a stock rx8 makes 247HP, but has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, and anyone who has an rx8 and is a true rotory enthusiast knows that its made for the tracks and not straights, even though i've beaten gst on straights, i try to race on tracks because that's where real racing and real driving is given.

@TheRareone777 I'm not doubting the rx8 I think is a great vehicle, and the rotary engine rocks. Might be faster than a 350z doing labs but in straight line I highly doubt it. And as for the gst, they came with 210hp to be a reliable vehicle and is also about 16 years old, with maybe 1k that gst would put down 300whp. Not hating I have respect for both cars.

@dalesocks I'm sure it lies heavily on the driver especially when many critiques,drivers, and top name mags such as MOTORTREND, CARandDriver ETC... all rate the rx8 better than the 350z, and its been proven that on race tracks stock rx8 vs stock 350z the rx8 wins, rx8 is ranked 3rd best handling vehicle in production (higher than M3, GTR etc) take that GST and watch how an rx8 easily laps it, I've done it myself bud....
