The once revered literary figure is now reduced to being the top propagandist of a powerful elite haciendero family, the Cojuangco-Aquinos. Using his god-given talents for the propagation of an oligarch's version of truth and history.

Why the sudden betrayal of integrity, decency, rational thinking and honesty? We dont know. But the only thing that is evident is that Mr. CDQ is growing old, and perhaps exhibiting symptoms of senility. He might live long enough to see his own downfall, destroying his credibility as vanguard of truth he painstakingly built early in his career. What a waste, a tragedy in the world of intellectuals.
