Semplicemente splendida, dolce voce d'angelo troppo presto strappata alla vita. Molto composta e compita, libra le note nell'aria fino a far vibrare le corde più profonde dell'animo. Un applauso forte ed infinito che arrivi fin lassù a raggiungerla.

Sheer and utter perfection, at one with the music. I have enjoyed Dame Kiri's rendition, puzzled over Ms.Fleming's and shuddered at Ms. Bartoli's mannerisms which overtook the music. If there is a chorus of angels in heaven, surely it is lead by the serenely beautiful Arleen Auger and Lucia Popp.

I love the way her face lights up when she begins the Alleluia. She and Lynne Dawson are the most perfect singers without question.
