  • @alan513 You posted 8 months ago but I must to respond you. These people who hurt their shins are just stupid. Hitting banana tree or others hard objects like metal pipes are myths created by Hollywood, example: Kickboxer with Jean Claude van Damme, this is bullshit. Even in Thailand, capital of Muay Thai - symbol of hard shins top fighters just kick bags with sand, not banana tree ;) It's not just my opinion. Top muay thai fighters in Thailand in interviews said that this is just myth.

  • sometimes people hurt shin to get stronger shin, could I do these leg training with shin pain?

  • @icharuswing Yeah,thanks! But I'd say that one minute rest in between is probably better. It is enough time for the glucose hungry muscles to relax and for blood to pump in them, but still taxing enough to train in pain tolerance. That is what works for me, anyway.

  • @nickat1985 they are done back to back in a circuit, for time 30sec-1min, with 2 min rest in between, 4-5 sets

  • @nickat1985 i don't think they are to failure. I think 4 sets of 10 probably. I suppose you could do them in 4 sets of 15 if you find sets of 10 to easy.

  • @zigzag42092 Exactly.Are these exercises till failure or they're like 4 sets with 10 reps in each set? If the uploader could answer this, it would be very informative.
