  • John Ashcroft is so full of shit. "I cant answer hypotheticals" is the new bullshit phrase to get around a lot of important issues or answers.

  • The Attorney General is NOT the president's attorney; he is the people's attorney. The president has a special council that serves as his attorney.

  • Cool, now burn in hell you fascist prick and take the teabagged Americans with you.

  • Let me be one of the first to congratulate Rep. Sanchez on the impending birth of her

    bastard child.

What a great example you are...............

  • thanks for clearing that up.

  • whether you are in office or not it still stands if it pertains to an event while in office for which executive privilege would have applied.

  • Ashcroft: "I think it's my responsibility as his [the President's] attorney... attorneys are supposed to be able to talk to the people they serve...confidentially"

BZZZZT! The Attorney General's client is not the President, it is the American people. This guy is making a complete mockery of the Congress's oversight role. Supposedly Ashcroft had some serious misgivings about some of the things that were being done. He should show some cojones and tell what he knows.

  • Ashcroft would make an excellent used car sales manager.

  • Why is Sanchez not questioning the torture tactics and murder of Americans and our allies while held as POW's. Ascrofts knowledge is protected under the rules of confidentiality.

  • If I bullshitted a judge like that I'd be locked up for contempt.

  • This reminds me of when bill clinton was getting questioned. Same answers over and over.
