  • Wow, the level of idiocy on this page is fucking amazing.

  • Apparently criticising the current state of America makes you 'unpatriotic', and waving a little flag makes you an American hero. No wonder it has become a thatcherite, right wing nightmare stuck in a war abroad.

  • This was during the presidential campaign. The Bush administration was in office so yeah. It really wasn't what it used to be because of them.

  • THAT GIRL IS MY NEIGHBOR!!! shes 10 now.......she talked to the president!!!!

It is a simple when you age your mind starts to go. Honestly I don't think any of the people who ran for president should of been up there. Even Hilary, the only reason she was an ok person was because of her husband. Sitting here arguing won't get either one of us anywhere. What should happen is the American people need to stand up for ourselves. We should chose who we vote for and the laws that are passed. America should be a *LITTLE* more of a Democracy.

  • @91noslenjc I think you're worries are unfounded. He's not senile, he still has his bearings. Some people have those problems as they age, but not all, and not all at the same time. Many still have what it takes, like Reagan; like other seniors as well. I do know he wouldn't have done any worse than the silver-tongued snake.

  • @91noslenjc Ok, you're a little off on your facts. Those laws were enacted under Clinton, not Bush. And I have the requisit proof if needed. I'm not sure on the kinds of warnings he received, I'll be honest about that. But doubt he'd ignore warnings if they were presented to him as serious. Doesn't make sense. I like No Child Left Behind. I like the Derpartment of Homeland Security. The economy was good for half the time under him.

And the thing about McCain I'm not trying to dis on the man or anything, but when you get up there in age your mind isn't the best. My grandpa for an example was a great chess player no one could beat him, but now he is 73 his mind has slowed down and I have seen a few people beat him. I don't want some kid in office, but I don't want someone who will forget where they sent our troops either. Besides who would want a president who just drops out?

    Bush was a terrible president...

For one example the Bush family changed the laws so the banks could give loans to people they knew couldn't pay them back. So when that person didn't pay them back they was still covered, but could take more from that person. Since 9/11 is coming I'll bring that up too. Bush had warnings about the attacks coming, but did nothing until after Americans had died. I'm not staying on long, but can you name ANYTHING good Bush did for America?

  • @91noslenjc As long as he would have done the job, the age doesn't really matter. Reagan did pretty well, and he was old. It was something used against him. I will stick up for Bush, because the media brainwashed people into thinking he was worse than he was. Bush started us downhill with the bailouts, but as a whole, he wasn't terrible Obama is...he's just awful. At least under Bush, the economy was good half the time.
