  • Now what I find through the miracle of the modern age, it is now my turn to audition you Joseph Ward. You denied me a place at the RNCM twice. The conclusion of my audition was I was not good enough! You said, however that I "had a pleasing tenor voice". Any chance of a glittering career in opera certainly ended that day. You are also a pleasing tenor to listen too. After auditioning your showreel you are no better or worse than me. We can all sound like fish mongers on the market.

  • I remember him as a very kind head of vocal studies- concerned for the welfare of each singing student. Great wisdom. I am glad to see him looking so well and wish him a happy, but very busy semi-retirement!

  • I admire this man enormously. Thank you.

  • He is such a great teacher.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Heng
