Chris Curtis' harmonies are great.

I think the fact that the Beatles had a song with the same name on the Hard Day's Night album didn't help them.

yes strange low chart placing..great song ..harmonies..etc...and on the palladium..

From Sunday Night at the London Paladium in September 1965. They probably don't sing it now as it was their first hit not to make the top 20 (it made no.35). It's actually a good song and performance. They are one of the best groups of the 60s and are national treasures!

@r4ndym4n They don't want to

Saw them last night, Mansfield Palace...Frank said they cannot sing this song...anyone know why not?
The show was as brilliant as ever, with the audience on its feet at the end. Now for Radcliffe on Trent.

One Of The Greatest Bands Ever!

@huskyjerk , Those are Burns London guitars. They made some wild guitars in weird colors. They were expensive here in the States.
-
What brand of guitars do those guys use? They have a unique shape and color design.

Theses Guys can put there music talant to anything, There music has knocked me out since day one, Tezza the Manch.............

Interesting that McNally, the only non-singing member, is at center stage.

Boobby Darin actually made original version but in my not so unbiased opinion The Searchers version was better.

I agree. I heard The Searchers version first, about 8 years ago...and I loved it. Then it took me about another 5 years to track down the original 45(Darin) and to my dissapointment it just wasn't as good. It's pretty funny that when you find the original of a Searchers cover tune, the Searchers version is almost always better!
But, if you have the time, try to find a Bobby Darin tune called "Treat My Baby Good"...I consider it Darin's best song and it has a hint of the Bobby Vee sound on it.
