This excellent kit is sold by Pinbits (http://www.pinbits.com). Prototype Twilight Zone pinball machines had a third magnet that was dropped on the regular production run. I am retrofitting the 3rd magnet back into the game. This video shows me drilling a 3/4" hole in my expensive playfield.

  • I hate to say it but it is completely unnescesary to drill the magnet hole thru the playfield. If you would drill from the bottom side and stop at 3/4 you won't damage the top op the playfield, the adjustable magnet centre will fitt perfectly and still grab the ball. The only difference is your playfield looks way nicer.

  • I can understand your preference and respect it. My preference was to make this look like a prototype machine. The playfield is still going to be sent out to be painted and clearcoated and the hole will look like the other two when it's all done.
