I think a lot of people find that they don't need a designated changing table nowadays. When I have kids I plan on using the top of the baby's dresser to put the changing pad on and change them there. (:

Also, my 2nd was 8lbs 9oz at birth & didn't fit into any newborn clothes, but she had REALLY bad reflux & ended up dropping down to 7lbs 1oz when we left the hospital, so she then fit into the newborn clothes for a couple months.. lol

I know he's older now, but for your next one, use the receiving blankets as spit up rags! that's what I did with mine!
