The poem is written by shaykh Saleh al-Ja'fari, may Allah be pleased with him. The line in the poem about seeing the shaykh in the hadra was originally about shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris, but the munshideen replaced his name with "al-Ja'fari", referring to shaykh Saleh, may Allah be pleased with him, and then repeated the line again, this time using "Sidi Abd al-Ghani", shaykh Saleh's son who currently leads the hadra (dhikr gathering).
