  • Your version of 'Plastic Jesus' and 'I Can't Be Satisfied', was AWESOME on this baby..

Shame you got rid of it... I suppose you only had it around for variety eh?... guess the novelty wore off...

    Great Taj Mahal cover!

  • @RascalKyng Thank you for your comment. All my instruments are for sale at the right price. Although this banjitar has a fantastic tone, it is very heavy and difficult to play for an extended period of time. I sold this one and purchased another. I have not played it yet on a video. It is an original John Dopera Bantar from the 1970s???. Enjoy.

  • I've got a 6 string Bajistar that a friend of mine gave to me and I am needing to learn to play.........maybe this video will help me!

Thanks for posting and good playing.

  • Thank you for your comment. Please check out my instructional video CDs that are for sale on ebay by searching: Keni Lee They are very reasonably priced. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

  • Playing in standard tuning (and this applies to resonator guitars too) require the skill to mute unwanted strings or else you will produce a lot of unwanted noise. But just like everything else, with practice it becomes natural. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

  • Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is basically a guitar. There is only one slight difference. Just like a banjo, it does not work that well strumming chords. Banjo rolls work great, but strumming produces a muddy sound. That is why banjo and guitar fit together nicely. Remember on banjos, you hit one string, it causes the others to vibrate with the skin.

  • glad to hear that...I'm waiting for mine to arrive : -)

  • Thank you. Did you see the video response below the video? I attached the woodshedding lesson where I explain how I figured out this arrangement. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.

  • man Keni,

    you got chops.... :)

  • Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I will keep them coming. Happy Holidays. Enjoy.
