Why exactly did 13 suck? I liked it.

Final Fantasy 13, The Story is Great, The Fighting System is Great, The Graphics are Great. I cant explain why i had a hard time fully enjoying the game. maybe all the hype made me expect too much of it. while playing it i felt like i was making myself grind through the game, i thought to my self "is it just me". but out of all my friends i was the only one who actually finished the game. maybe it was the playable characters. i only liked using lightning. but Overall I'm still glad i played it.

Personally I didnt care much for all the other final fantasy games, but 13 was the one that drew me in, I liked the story and the whole mythology that surrounds it, To me all the characters were likeable even hope who had his annoying moments, Finished the game at at around 30 hours, overall I thought the game was great and the visuals were just amazing that alone was more than enough of a reason to play the game. Can't wait for 13-2 it looks even better.

in my opinion, FF13 was terrible. The gameplay was slow, and took hours into the game for it to get interesting.  The story was average. The characters were a bit strange themselves, with the exception of Lightning. Btw, Vanille creeped me out a lot, and i found Hope to be annoying. The soundtrack was below the Final Fantasy par, with pieces not too memorable. There's no song that's as good as Aerith's Theme or Dancing Mad or many other FF pieces. All this game had was graphics.

true final fantasy 13 didnt suck...i also noticed that i was the only person who passedi Vasher "i thought to my self "is it just me". but out of all my friends i was the only one who actually finished the game. it was good in everything...

story sucked...and pressing x all the time didnt help the situation..

HOWEVER the side missions were great ! ended up playing it for 80h trying to get all the trophies :)

Final Fantasy XIII WAS great, it just didn't live up to the hype.

Hopefully, Versus XIII won't be hyped too much.

I think all the hype is what killed it for alot of people. I mean I love the game, mainly cause I had no Idea about it until about a month before it came out.

@silvertigrex most people think it sux b/c the fighting system was dull..only thing u wud do is press x to give the command to attack or defend ..i like everything but da combat system...

@vasher05 I can totally understand where you're coming from. I absolutely loved the game. Everything about ti was awesome. I just... >.< It's like the favourite game I had but probably won't play again. Sort of :P It's hard to put your finger on it. I'm emotionally inclined for Lightning though so :L I'll come back eventually. Hope XIII-2 is gonna be awesome.
