GOD did use this situation to his glory, and we do need to forgive this man. I believe he is sincere in his regret for what he did. Just pray for the brother and thank the Lord God was merciful enough to give him a chance to deal with what he did. GOD Bless all.

The truth is, is his intention was not to make money, but to hide the physical pain he was enduring from the years of guilt and lies he had been telling himself. he was so ashamed and saw that his guilt was showing, so he decided to cover it with another lie, one that would keep people's eyes off of his sin. He avoided facing his original sin, and made the situation worse - i don't think that is what he wanted, especilally to confess his deep secrets to the world.
