  • @bloodreighn Because of something called free will and it's my car and I modify it any way I wish and you have no idea how much R&D I've put into this little endeavour and are therefore in no position to describe this work as "pissing about"? To be fair though, the conversion is now well under way ans splicing will come before de-looming because I don't have the time to "piss about" due to needing to use the car as my daily driver as soon as possible :)

  • that's fawking evil!!

  • @papapetad why de loom and piss about like that when you are thinking about an engine swap? you will only have to pull apart the loom and hack it up to suit the new engine anyways!?

  • Are you on any forums? If not p/m me I can send you some pics of my car. I've been documenting the progress since '08 which has been slow as but it's come a long way. Anyway, shot for the vid hope you got it all running mint!

  • @@ dude you're in nz right? Whereabouts? I've been wanting to do this conversion for a long time. If you don't mind sharing a bit of info with things like engine mount dimensions etc... Would be really cool. I'm sure you'd prefer it if hardly anyone else did the conversion but it's for a good cause isn't it? I've got a 30de in my coupe at the moment but been wanting to go vh for ages.. First am delooming/rewiring the car, then planning for cage, then engine work will be on the cards.

  • Good to see you finally have an engine with the right amount of cylinders!

I think people will be impressed when you pop the hood on that puppy, good effort.
