Voicing refers to the shape of the throat, the back of the tongue, and the position of the larynx (voice box).

For this exercise start on G, and bend the note down to F#. With proper voicing and a developed embouchure this is not difficult.

10 points for students who can bend the notes all the way down in a controlled manner.
7 points for students who can bend them part of the way down in a controlled manner.
5 points for students who can do the exercise, but can't get the notes very far down, or don't have much control.
0 points if you can't remember the exercise or explain what voicing is.
