Sebelum menyusun sebuah Strategic Marketing Plan, perusahaan harus melakukan Marketing Audit. Ini yang masih jarang dilakukan. Assessment yang komprehensif terhadap marketing performance adalah dasar dalam menentukan arah strategi pemasaran ke depannya. Pada 11 September 2008 MIX-Interactive menyelenggarakan workshop tentang marketing audit dan marketing plan dengan fasilitator Amalia Maulana, PhD. Workshop yang diikuti lebih dari 50 peserta tersebut diselenggarakan di JAC Jl. MH Thamrin Jakarta.
