  • Eddie was awesome. What a loss. He was a GREAT bad guy! Like freezerburn said, he had an amazing knack of making people reallllly hate him!

  • what a funny angle. the sign is typical of Lawler 's artwork. to me it looks like he made it and is in on this job. lolz

what a great era in wrestling this was. i was lucky enough to live in the memphis area when this happened and watched it all every saturday morning on tv. great times and memories..

funny thing is everyone misses the old days of wrestling you would think that somehow we could bring it back. i will keep hoping for that day.

  • @ashthedemonhunter Vince stole EVERYTHING from the old territories.

  • God, wrestling was so cool back in the "territory days". Mid South, World Class, Mid Atlantic, the list goes on and on. Now? I spit on it.

  • This is the funnest thing I have ever seen.

  • Classic TV!

  • i not be rude but they was no wwe when this was around !!!

  • True Sir.

  • Eddie was great as heel or face. He would have been world champ if not for untimely death.

  • Lawler: You're making a fool out of yourself with all this garbage your presenting...

    Gilbert: No I'm not

Man I miss Hotstuff. This was right when he was on his way to being one of the biggest heels of the mid 80s. A few short months later he'd be in Mid South with the Nightmare and he would be cemented as one of the top guys in the business for the next 7 years until his untimely death. Truly the King's successor, Thomas Edward Gilbert Jr. Long live the KING HOTSTUFF!

    JOEY
