  • Something you do NOT want to hear on a boat- "Where's all that water coming from?"

  • @AussieNathan91 yes, the boat righted itself shortly after the wave.

  • did they suvive?

  • Rogue Waves are EXTREMELY dangerous and come out of nowhere usually on the ships side. unlike normal waves they are a huge wall of water 40-100feet high. This 60 foot wave could knock a cruise ship 800-900feet long on its side. The worst waves ever were on November 25,1990 a.k.a Savage Sunday. the Time Bandit on Deadliest Catch survived that day when rogue waves exceeded 80 feet in record

  • Hell yeah, reminds me of Bay of Biscay last autumn :D That was fun guys... :D

  • you dont go to the beach often do you? Or out in boats? The height of the tide has to do with the gravitational pull of the moon but the waves can be due to anything, wind, currents, volcanic activity etc...

  • if i were him id yell out free from the crew then die.

    lol

  • I would have peed in my pants right then and there...Lol

  • I thought I heard once somewhere that the higher the waves are have something to do with the gravitational pull of the moon to the Earth and the closer it gets to the Earth's atmosphere, the higher the waves get. So there must've been some type of strange lunar activity.

  • Here in the Netherlands, we have a govermental body who is in charge of everything that has to do with water.

They say that a monsterwave could be as high as 35 feet!

This is a big lie! I don't know why they are denying the fact that for instance, on 1 januari 1995 an oil rig measured a wave of 90 feet. Perhaps it has something to do with shipping insureance etc.
