I lived in Belleville from 1963 to 1975, moved out when I was 15, so I remember the library before the "new" section was added. When I used to go there as a kid the upstairs was for adults, the downstairs was for the kids. You're right, when I went there were no computers there but they had activities for the kids like art and crafts, movies and plays, they were all downstairs. I went to # 8 school then to the Jr High on Washington then 1 year in the high school, then moved to PA in 1975.
