"Sweeney Todd in Concert" ~~ Part 13 of 16

'Not While I'm Around' breaks my heart. Their performance is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. And they are so good at what they do ... watch Patti's hands as she 'knits' the muffler ... o.o

I like how Neil manages to sing this song with such childlike charm. Just listening to him it's easy to forget that he's a grown man and not a young boy like Toby really is. Beautiful.

I think shes a GREAT singer! Shes a waaayyy better singer than me, ill tell u that. Besides i love Sweeney Todd, george hearn and NPH are awesome!

I just have to say to all those who think Patti is good in this part of Mrs Lovett are so friggin crazy.......she is absolutely horrendous in this part.......it makes me laugh so hard when peeps think they know good character representation and good singing on here.....been on broadway, been doing musical theatre all my life, been there done that. She is Terrible playing this role. ICON my ass....LOL

Have you starred on Broadway? Have you been accredited with being a Broadway critic? Until you get credentials, and even if you do let people think what they want. Its the audience that decides what is good or bad not random people who think they know all.

I just can't get over how good Patti is as Mrs. Lovett, I think she plays her perfectly, she's up there with Helena on who's the best Mrs. Lovetts, love it and NPH is fantastic, perfect in his "Not While I'm ARound" very little boyish

NPH's voice is just spectacular! His "Not While I'm Around" makes me melt! He's just SO talented!

Okay, first of all, she's phenomenal.
Second, it's Mrs. Lovett. So, if you're going to talk about her at least spell her name right, dumbass.

to YOU she is that, but more probably not to me.

And obviously you don't even know enough about the show to be able to make a credible statement about Patti Lupone, when you can't even spell her character's name correctly.
