really need some help here...in making a concrete countertops is it just regular concrete set into a mold and npn to make it shiney or buffed out ...there are no special ingrediants in the concrete itself or a special kind of concrete you have to use...i was about ready to make a test sample and when i opened the concrete bag it had rock chips in it and i said to myself this isn't going to work...advice?

@candided npn is just counter wax on the form. made a vessel sink put counter top wax on mold, came out looking like it had high gloss on it. make sure mold is clean before you put wax on

@seymour5575 There's lots of tools out there for dry and wet. I use wet because I have an area designed for it. I guess it would depend on your surrounding.
