  • Hey is that 2.3 gingerbread if so... how?

  • @Daninater567 both runs on 2.2 froyo with launcher pro ;)

  • this video doesnt do any of the screens justice. the slcd which is made by sony, is an excellent screen.

  • @harplager3 yes, but amoled is better (personal opinion)

  • @jimyslivec which is better? i wanted to buy one but i dont know what's best for me...

  • @brendsy1 if you have a choice take AMOLED ;)

  • @harplager3 yes you are absolutely right. But sony has developed a newer technology called OLED, and it will go in the market in the upcoming years. The amoled screen is the same with the OLED screen, they are based on the same principles. The AMOLED screen can process the picture faster than any LCD or super LCD. It has a lower energy consumption and an absolute black color, and as you can see from the video the amoled has way dipper black background than the lcd.

  • hi, i just broke my screen, i got my desire when it first came out and the blacks are black compared to my friend who has the same phone, would that mean mine is most likely amoled version?

  • @19ultima88 Yes but SLCD has more accurate and natural colours. I wouldnt wanna buy a phone with AMOLEED and look at it being too saturated and contrasted. If you take a picture from an AMOLED and a SLCD, SLCD will have the more accurate and natural colours, whereas AMOLED will show fake colours because of its saturation and contrast being high. SLCD FTW

  • Thanks for review ! you helped me a lot, i will choose Amoled and when the price will be more small i will choose super amoled :)

  • Damn all those lcd/slcd screens, they got no real black, you can clearly see that in this vid...

  • @19ultima88 the amoled can process the picture faster than the LCD! but not faster than the SLCD.. only the superamoled is faster than SLCD...

    LCD<AMOLED<SLCD<SAMOLED

  • @Antoni1919 hi again :) the previous HTC has the amoled right or does the desire S has it too?? and me i ask one more question? is there a super amoled? cause my friend is insisting that his phone samsung galaxy s II has it is it true? thank you :D

  • @brendsy1 Amoled, bo ma lepsze kąty widzenia, lepiej widać ekran w słońcu no i nie ma przy tym większej utraty energii

  • @brendsy1 Amoled, because is's more light, and has better colours
