DAVID LETTERMAN APOLOGY TO SARAH PALIN AFTER N.O.W. PUTS HIM ON MEDIA WALL OF SHAME

This video is David Letterman's apology to Sarah Palin and her daughters. Last week Letterman "apologized" but it was nothing more than another disgusting joke fest.

After N.O.W. (National Organization for Women) put David Letterman on the Media Wall of Shame, suddenly David Letterman comes out with a seemingly more sincere apology. He claims he thought 18 year old Bristol Palin was at the Yankees game with her parents Todd and Sarah Palin, but it turned out to be 14 year old Willow Palin that David Letterman joked about in a most disgusting way.

Whether the so-called joke was meant for an 18 year old or a 14 year old really does not matter as it was a disgusting and degrading thing to say about any female, no matter their age.

Your written description of this video is in error.Letterman clearly states that he thought the Governor was only there with Rudy Gulianai, not as you say, with her 18 yr old daughter.

nursestew, not an error, he has said several times previously AND in this video that he thought it was 18 year old Bristol and he even said in this video that he even checked before making the joke to make sure that Bristol had turned 18 first. He then joked about Rudy Guliani, THAT was a joke only.

David Letterman should not have apologized. This country's current obsession with all things politically correct is disgusting, moronic, and makes living in America a lot more unpleasant than it used to be in years past. He showed class by apologizing. Everybody needs to calm down. It was not intentional. Inappropriate, sure, but lighten up. He's a comedian, aren't we supposed to take everything comedians say with a grain of salt? And most jokes are at somebody's expense. Start apologizing to every person that is the butt of a joke. That is a 6 billion person long list. Furthermore, I hope to god that Sarah Palin does not become president. We don't need George Bush in drag for 4 years.
