Oran Etkin's recent album, Kelenia,features his group with Malian griot musicians Balla and Makane Kouyate as well as Joe Sanders and John Benitez on bass, Lionel Loueke on guitar, Abdoulaye Diabate on vocals and a string quartet on one track. This video was taken at the CD release party at the Knitting Factory in Manhattan. and features Oran Etkin, Balla Kouyate, Makane Kouyate, Joe Sanders, Richie Barshay and Abdoulaye Diabate.
